2021 Sony World Photography Awards - Winner, Wildlife & Nature, Professional Competition
Luis Tato is a Spanish photojournalist currently based in Nairobi, Kenya. He began his visual education studying different drawing and painting techniques. He was a photographer to the Spanish leading newspaper La Vanguardia covering daily news and sports. Currently, he is combining his work as a news photographer covering East Africa while developing his own photojournalism projects. His work has been published in major international magazines and newspapers and he has received numerous international awards.
